The package contains several pieces of aircraft on shared sprues, intended for completing the deck of a model of a modern aircraft carrier or for a naval diorama in the same scale. The models are miniature and simple to build, with a decal sheet with American naval markings.
The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet is a multirole carrier aircraft that joins the role of a fighter and of a strike aircraft in one machine (hence the designation F/A). The F/A-18C version is single-seat and for long years formed the backbone of the carrier squadrons of the US Navy and of the Marine Corps. The Hornet excels in reliability, easy maintenance on deck and a wide range of carried armament, thanks to which it has proved itself in a number of modern conflicts.
Clean the small parts of flash carefully and glue them with feeling. Because of the size, a basic coat sprayed with an airbrush (typically gray low-visibility schemes), a fine highlighting of the panels and discreet decals are enough. Unify the color scheme of all the pieces so that the deck looks consistent.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
