Precisely turned brass barrels for the German 15 cm SKC/28 naval gun (150 mm caliber, that is 5.9 inches) in 1:700 scale from the MASTER company. The package contains 12 pieces and replaces the plastic barrels with a more accurate metal part.
The 15 cm SKC/28 gun made up the secondary armament of the German capital ships of the Bismarck and Scharnhorst classes. It served to defend against destroyers and light surface targets.
Metal barrels are perfectly straight and have a sharp, symmetrical muzzle. Twelve pieces cover the complete secondary battery of the model.
Cut off the plastic barrel, clean up the hole with a fine drill and glue the brass part in with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer for metal.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
