Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched (PE) detail set from Hasegawa in 1:700 scale, intended to improve the model of the Japanese battleship Mikasa. This is not a model of the ship, but a set of fine metal parts that replace coarser plastic elements and increase the fidelity of the finished build.
Mikasa was a Japanese battleship of the early twentieth century, known as the flagship at the Battle of Tsushima during the Russo-Japanese War. She is preserved to this day as a museum ship and ranks among the best-known vessels of her era.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them in a photo-etch bending tool or along the edge of a ruler. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) in a small amount. Degrease them before painting and apply a primer suitable for metal.
This is a detail accessory. The basic model of the ship and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
