Turned brass replacement barrels for the Italian 381 mm (15 inch) Model 1934 in 1:700 scale from MASTER. An accurate metal accessory for the main battery, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely turned brass barrels of 381 mm (15 inch) caliber, Model 1934, in 1:700 scale from the Polish manufacturer MASTER. It is a metal detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels from the box. The package contains 9 pieces, which matches the main battery in three triple turrets. The turned barrels are perfectly straight and capture the slender profile of the Italian guns faithfully.
The Italian gun of 381 mm caliber and 50 calibers length, Model 1934, was the main armament of the modern Italian battleships of the Littorio class, that is Littorio, Vittorio Veneto and Roma. It was fitted in three triple turrets, nine barrels per ship in all. It was among the most powerful guns of its caliber, though at the price of heavy barrel wear.
Cut off the original plastic barrels and clean them up, then seat the turned parts in the turrets. They are glued with cyanoacrylate or epoxy. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a primer for metal.
This is a replacement part, not a ship model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
