The Aoshima 1:700 Waterline Series Japanese naval planes plastic set holds miniature aircraft to complete the decks of Japanese warships.
Responsibility details are not available.
An unassembled injection-molded plastic set from the Japanese firm Aoshima in 1:700 scale, from the Waterline series. It holds a set of miniature Japanese naval aircraft meant to complete the decks of carriers, battleships and cruisers. It is not one large aircraft model, but a collection of small aircraft to be glued together and painted.
During the Second World War the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service used a number of shipboard and floatplane types that served for reconnaissance, attack and escort. In 1:700 scale these aircraft are small additions that bring a warship model to life and give it a sense of scale as well as the atmosphere of its day.
Separate the small parts from the sprue with a sharp knife and glue them with a feel for their small size. Spray the aircraft with the base shades of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service using an airbrush, or paint them with a brush. The small national insignia can be suggested with paint or a decal. Place the finished aircraft on the decks and catapults of your ship models.
This is an accessory set of small aircraft, not a large stand-alone model. Paints, glue and the ship they go on are not included in the package.
