A model of a military vehicle in 1:72 scale under the designation 1RL133. The designation is a type one, that is the kind the real subject itself carries; what exactly the model represents and how many parts it consists of is described by the manufacturer in the instructions enclosed with the package.
In 1:72 scale one centimeter on the model corresponds to seventy-two centimeters in reality. It is the most widespread modeling scale and its main advantage is room: even a large machine fits into a display case beside others, and vehicles can be combined without trouble with aircraft and figures of the same scale into one scene. The price for that is small parts, which are held better with tweezers than with the fingers.
Before you reach for the glue, go through the whole set of instructions and fit the parts dry, so that you know where the gaps will be and what has to be sanded. Apply the paint in thin coats so that the fine relief does not disappear. Once painted, it pays to go over the model with varnish, to put any decals on only over that and to even the surface out with a matte varnish at the end. Decals settle better on a gloss base, because on a matte surface air stays under them. Protect the finished model from dust and do not stand it in direct sunlight, which does neither the paint nor the glued joints any good.
For collectors of military vehicles in 1:72 scale who want to add a less usual machine to a collection. The package holds only this item; paints, glue, tools and a base are not included, unless stated otherwise.
