This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from IBG models depicts the Hungarian 44M Turan III medium tank of the Second World War. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit meant to be glued and painted.
The Turan III was the final development version of the Hungarian Turan medium tank, armed with a longer 75 mm gun of greater penetrating power and fitted from the outset with side skirts against shaped charges. It remained at the prototype stage and never went into series production. The Turan family meanwhile formed the backbone of the Hungarian armored force during the war.
In 1:72 scale, take care to sand the joints properly and to fit the small parts cleanly. Assemble the running gear before you close up the hull. Use a thin plastic cement. After priming, paint with an airbrush; the side plates and the running gear come to life with dust pigments, and a wash brings out the panels and rivets.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
