This aftermarket 3D-printed resin set in 1:72 scale represents the 9S846 Strelets twin launch module. It is not a model but an external accessory for detailing kits. 3D printing allows a fine rendering of the containers and the mounting that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
The 9S846 Strelets is a modular launch system for missiles of the Igla type (9M39, and also 9M342), usable in ground, naval and airborne installations. The twin module can carry and launch two missiles and tends to be integrated into the armament of helicopters and light air vehicles.
Separate the parts from the supports, wash and degrease them and glue with super glue. Sand with respiratory protection. Match the containers to the color scheme of the carrier, bring the mounting detail out and support the edges and seams with a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
