About product

In-flight refueling probe boom for the A-4C Skyhawk in 1:72

A turned metal in-flight refueling probe boom for a model of the A-4C Skyhawk jet in 1:72 scale. The accessory replaces the plastic part from the box with a precisely machined metal part together with a printed adapter for seating it. The shape of the probe matches the version carried on the A-4C. In the small 1:72 scale a metal part is particularly worthwhile, because the plastic probe tends to be fragile.

Use

  • A replacement for the plastic refueling probe on an A-4C Skyhawk model in 1:72.
  • The metal part is straight, sharp and far more durable than thin plastic.
  • It is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) once the surface has been cleaned.
  • Once fitted, the spot is cleaned up and resprayed in the color of the aircraft.

Who the accessory is for

  • For modelers building the A-4C Skyhawk in 1:72 scale.
  • For anyone interested in fine superdetailing even in the small scales.

A very small metal part; keep out of the reach of children. Work with eye protection.
