A set of self-adhesive painting masks from Eduard in 1:72 scale for a model of the American carrier attack aircraft Grumman A-6 Intruder. The masks are die-cut from kabuki masking tape and serve for clean spraying of the canopy glazing and the edges of the wheels. It is not a kit but a masking accessory.
The A-6 Intruder was a two-seat subsonic carrier attack aircraft of the US Navy for all-weather operations. The crew sat side by side and the machine could carry a large load of bombs over a long distance. The Intruder proved itself from the war in Vietnam to its use in the 1990s.
Stick the mask onto degreased glazing, press it against the frames and spray with an airbrush in thin coats. In the small 1:72 scale a mask makes the precise framing of the tiny canopy frames, which would be hard to paint with a brush, considerably easier.
This is an accessory (painting masks), not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
