This is NOT a kit but a detail accessory for a cockpit. The colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio are printed on backing decal paper, are layered and raised, and once settled they look three-dimensional. They give the model a colored instrument panel, side consoles, seats and seat belts with no painting. Intended for models of the A-6E Intruder in 1:72 scale. The decals are shaped for the parts of the Trumpeter kit.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was an American carrier-based attack aircraft with a crew of two seated side by side. The A-6E version, with updated radar and systems for precision bombing in any weather, served with the Navy for decades and was deployed in a number of conflicts. The cabin holds rich instrumentation for the pilot as well as the navigator.
Cut the part out of the sheet, dip it in lukewarm water for about 15 seconds and slide it off the paper into place in the cockpit. The elements have no adhesive layer, they hold on gloss varnish (Future/Klear, Tamiya X-22), and on intricate surfaces a drop of cyanoacrylate glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin. The seat belts can be shaped gently.
This is a standalone detail accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
