Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the carrier-borne attack aircraft A-7E Corsair II in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Hobby Boss. The A-7E is the later, performance-improved carrier version of the US Navy. The kit has finely engraved panel lines, a well detailed cockpit and clear canopy parts. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II is an American single-seat subsonic attack aircraft derived from the F-8 Crusader fighter. The A-7E variant was the main strike type of the US Navy carrier squadrons: it received a more powerful engine and modern navigation and targeting systems for precise strikes on ground targets. It operated from the decks of aircraft carriers and became known for its long range, its weapons load and its accuracy. Characteristic is the stocky fuselage with the large frontal intake under the nose.
Finish and paint the cockpit and the nose gear bay before closing the fuselage. Fill and sand the joint of the air intake and the fuselage thoroughly so that it does not spoil the clean profile. Spray over a primer, ideally with an airbrush; the typical gray and colorful naval scheme comes out well once the engraved panel lines have been picked out with a thin wash. Add the external stores and the tanks only at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
