This resin detail set in 1:72 scale from Aires replaces the cockpit of a plastic kit with a more faithfully worked interior. It usually takes in the cockpit tub, the instrument panels, the side panels, the seat and the controls, all with fine relief. This variant matches the early form of the cockpit. It is not an airplane model in its own right but an accessory for an existing kit.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II was an American subsonic attack aircraft derived from the design of the Crusader fighter. The A-7E version served with the US Navy as a precise carrier of bomb and guided armament. It stood out for range and load and proved itself in a whole range of operations.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. The interior comes out once painted in a base color and the details brought up with a wash and a dry brush. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is a resin accessory for more experienced modelers, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
