Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Czechoslovak Aero A-11 biplane in the Finnish export version A-11HS from the Czech manufacturer Special Hobby. The model combines styrene sprues with clear parts and adds several 3D-printed parts for the powerplant. The decals cover several aircraft, and two versions of the landing gear are included, wheels as well as skis.
The Aero A.11 was a Czechoslovak observation and light bomber biplane of the 1920s. In 1925 Finland bought a batch of these aircraft, which was among the first export successes of the Czechoslovak aircraft industry. The Finnish version differed in its more powerful Hispano-Suiza engine, hence the designation A-11HS.
This is a more demanding kit because of the struts and bracing wires of a biplane, so it is recommended rather for more experienced builders. Carefully separate the 3D-printed powerplant parts from the supports and wash them before gluing. Join the parts with cement for plastic and the small resin and printed parts with super glue. Apply primer before painting and mask the glazing. Consider whether you will build the aircraft on wheels or on skis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
