This Czecho/Slovak AF release offers a set of decals focused on aircraft of the Czechoslovak, Czech, and Slovak air forces; check the exact package contents against the manufacturer's kit number.
The Aero L-29 Delfin was the first jet aircraft of original Czechoslovak design produced in large numbers. It became the standard trainer of the Warsaw Pact air forces and became known for its ruggedness and low-maintenance operation. A two-seat tandem cockpit, a straight wing, and a reliable jet engine made it an ideal school aircraft; it remained in service with some operators for many decades.
First assemble and paint the tandem cockpit, then join the fuselage halves. Glue the plastic with thin liquid cement for plastic, sand the seams, and apply a primer. Highlight metal and aluminum surfaces with metallic paints, and use panel lines and a light wash for depth. Apply the decals over a gloss surface to avoid a silvering effect.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
