A combined set of turned metal, photo-etched and resin parts for the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter in 1:72 scale. It replaces coarse plastic parts with faithful components with fine detail that markedly improve the look of the finished model.
It includes a turned barrel for the M230 chain gun of 30 mm caliber mounted under the fuselage, pitot tubes and the tail antenna. The metal barrel has a perfectly round bore that plastic does not allow. The parts are fitted once the corresponding plastic pieces have been cut off and glued in with cyanoacrylate.
