This set from the Brassin line by the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains resin AIM-120C AMRAAM medium-range guided missiles in 1:72 scale together with pylons and enclosed decals. Cast resin captures the fine surface detail of the missile body, the fins and the leading edges more accurately than injected plastic. It is not an aircraft model: it is an armament accessory intended for hanging under the wings and on the fuselage stations of modern fighters.
The AIM-120 AMRAAM is an American medium-range guided air-to-air missile with active radar guidance. The AIM-120C version has shortened fins for internal carriage and is standard armament on a number of Western fighters.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The missile body usually has a light base shade; the color bands and markings are handled by the enclosed decals, which should be applied over a gloss surface. Do the sanding with your airways protected.
This is an add-on set, not the aircraft model itself. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the carrier model are not included in the package.
