This resin set from the Czech maker Eduard brings faithfully worked AIM-7E Sparrow medium-range air-to-air guided missiles in 1:72 scale. The package holds four missiles and, as a rule, photo-etched details and decals as well. It is not an aircraft model but an armament accessory for an aircraft kit.
The AIM-7 Sparrow is an American air-to-air guided missile with semi-active radar homing. The AIM-7E version was used on a large scale in the Vietnam War period and was carried by a number of fighters. The missile is among the typical armament of American fighters of that era.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, separate the casting blocks and bond with super glue. Shape the fins accurately so that the missiles seat properly on the racks. Apply the paint with an airbrush and lay the decals over a gloss coat.
The accessory is intended for completing a plastic kit. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
