The Albatros D.V was one of the main German fighter aircraft in the closing stages of the First World War. It followed on from the successful Albatros D series and was distinguished by an aerodynamically clean, semi-monocoque fuselage of oval cross-section. Well-known German fighter pilots flew it. The aircraft carried a pair of synchronized machine guns.
Glue the fine parts with a thinned cement for plastic and apply a primer before painting. With a biplane, pay attention to correctly setting the interplane struts and tensioning the rigging, which gives the model a realistic look. Apply the colors with an airbrush, and bring the wood and fabric surfaces of the fuselage and wings to life with washes and subtle weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
