This set from the Polish brand MASTER contains five precisely turned metal angle of attack sensors of the American type in 1:72 scale. On real aircraft these small sensors sit on the sides of the forward fuselage and measure the angle of attack. The turned metal parts replace their coarser and easily damaged plastic counterparts and give the model fine, faithful detail. It is not an aircraft model: it is a set of small detail accessories.
Angle of attack sensors are among the small features that markedly raise the realism of a model at close quarters. A package of five pieces will cover several models of American aircraft or serve as a reserve in case one is lost or damaged during the build. The metal version is stronger and finer than the plastic part from the kit.
Drill a hole of the matching diameter where the sensor sits, insert the part and fix it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Watch the correct position and angle according to the documentation for your particular aircraft. Degrease the metal before painting and spray it with primer.
This is a set of metal detail accessories, not an aircraft model. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
