This injection-molded plastic kit catches the two-seat S.V.A.10 version of the famous Italian Ansaldo biplane in 1:72 scale. The Italian services release offers decals for machines of the Italian air service. The box holds the plastic parts, the clear pieces and a decal sheet to finish the model faithfully.
The Ansaldo S.V.A. was one of the fastest aircraft of the closing stages of the First World War. The two-seat S.V.A.10 version was adapted for reconnaissance and light bombing; the rear crew member worked a flexible machine gun while the pilot had fixed armament. It was powered by the SPA inline six-cylinder engine of around 220 horsepower, thanks to which the aircraft reached about 230 km/h and had a long range.
Glue the fine parts with a thin cement for plastic and clean up the small flash. Take care that the upper wing, the struts and the armament are seated exactly. Lay on a gloss varnish before the decals so that the markings take without silvering. It is worth planning the order of gluing and painting the cockpit beforehand, because it is harder to reach once closed.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
