Responsibility details are not available.
Self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Peewit for a plastic model of the Arado Ar 95 biplane in the Ar 95A and Ar 95B versions in 1:72. The set covers the glazing of both the open and the enclosed cockpit and lets the frames be sprayed accurately, with no laborious cutting of masking tape. It is not a model but an accessory tied to a particular kit in this scale.
The Arado Ar 95 was a German two-seat biplane of the second half of the 1930s with a radial engine. It came about as a multi-purpose machine for coastal patrol, reconnaissance and carrying a torpedo or bombs, and it was built in two forms: on floats and with fixed landing gear for operation from land. Besides German service, a small number went abroad. The design, with a pair of open crew positions and complex glazing, is among the types where masking takes the most time.
Lift the masks off the sheet with tweezers and apply them to dry, degreased glazing. On a biplane, take care that the edges of a mask do not overhang onto the surrounding surfaces, where a mark would be left after spraying. Spray the frames first in the interior shade and only then in the outer coat. Spray both the cockpit and the struts in thin layers. Lift the mask off as soon as the paint has set, while the film is still flexible.
The package holds masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
