A set of self-adhesive painting masks Auster Antarctic 1:72 from the manufacturer Peewit for a clean paint job on a heavily glazed cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of precisely shaped self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Peewit, intended for a model of the light Auster aircraft in polar configuration in 1:72 scale. The masks cover the cockpit glazing from the inside as well as the outside, which with this type and its sizeable glazing is a great advantage. They are cut from fine masking paper, which follows the rounded frames well and leaves no adhesive residue when removed.
The Auster was a British light observation and liaison aircraft. In the version for polar regions it served on Antarctic expeditions, where its simple structure and its ability to operate from improvised surfaces came into their own.
For modelers who want to paint the broken-up glazing of an Auster model in 1:72 scale precisely, without laborious masking by hand.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
