A kit of the British twin-engine Avro Anson aircraft in the T.21 trainer version in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Avro Anson is a British twin-engine low-wing aircraft with a pair of radial engines, created in the mid-1930s for patrol work over the sea. What it proved itself at, though, was above all as a machine for training crews and for communications flights, and in that role it stayed in service long after the Second World War. The T.21 version is a postwar trainer variant of the Royal Air Force; a number of schools flew it, and it is told apart from the combat Ansons of the early war by a spine with no gun turret.
This is a kit of the aircraft in 1:72 scale. The extent of the package, the number of parts and the schemes offered are given by the manufacturer in the enclosed instructions. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Fit the fuselage and the engine nacelles dry first, then fill and sand the seams. The extensive cabin glazing is worth masking before spraying and fitting only once the interior has been painted, otherwise it is hard to reach later. Apply the paint in thin coats; on trainers the scheme tends to be simple, so what decides the result is the cleanliness of the surface and the accuracy of the transitions.
For a modeler who enjoys the machines of the second rank, that is trainers and communications aircraft, without which no air force could do. The paints, the glue and the filler are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
