Responsibility details are not available.
This set by the Czech maker Eduard contains photo-etched brass parts for refining a plastic model of the four-engined B-24D Liberator bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit in its own right but a more comprehensive accessory that adds fine detail inside and out. In sets of this kind the interior parts tend to be printed in color and self-adhesive. The set is intended for Airfix kits.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was one of the most widespread American heavy bombers of the Second World War. The early B-24D version was marked out by its high-mounted Davis wing and four radial engines. Liberators operated over Europe, the Mediterranean and the Pacific and became known for long-range raids and for a large bomb load.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them in a bending tool. Assemble and paint the interior parts before the fuselage is closed up. Glue the unpainted parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); press the color-printed self-adhesive parts into place.
The set is supplied unassembled. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
