This is an aftermarket accessory, not an aircraft kit. The set contains cast resin side machine gun packs for models of the North American B-25 Mitchell bomber in 1:72 scale. They replace the simplified plastic parts from the box with a truer casting with fine barrels and a better shape of the packs. The set comes from the Quickboost workshop (a line of the Aires brand).
The B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engined medium bomber of the Second World War, famous among other things for the raid on Tokyo. The attack versions, the B-25H and B-25J above all, carried additional packs with .50 caliber heavy machine guns on the sides of the fuselage, which markedly increased the forward firepower. It is exactly these side installations that this set sharpens.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash them free of mold release residue and clean up the mating surfaces. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. It is practical to spray the packs separately and fit them at a later stage of the build.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
