A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. Finely cast in resin, the set replaces the barrels of the onboard machine guns of the American twin-engine medium bomber Martin B-26 Marauder in the B-26C version, in 1:72 scale. The castings have a faithful profile and suggested muzzles, which are hard to form in injected plastic out of the box. The set is aimed at advanced modelers with resin experience.
The machine gun barrels projecting from the fuselage and the turrets are clearly visible on the finished model, and their slender shape decides the overall impression. The resin castings are finer and straighter than the thicker plastic parts and replace them without laborious clean-up. Painted in metallic shades and lightly weathered, they look entirely convincing.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
