A resin set of exhausts for the Japanese carrier bomber Nakajima B5N1 Kate in 1:72 scale: a detail accessory, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of exhaust stubs for the carrier torpedo and level bomber Nakajima B5N1, Kate in the Allied code, in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified plastic exhausts with an accurate casting with open outlets. The result is a more faithful engine section and a better base for bringing out the traces of smoke and burning. The manufacturer is the Quickboost range from the Czech studio Aires.
The Nakajima B5N was a single-engine carrier strike aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy, in service from the second half of the 1930s. The B5N1 version served mainly in a training and secondary role, while the later machines of this family took a marked part in the naval operations in the Pacific. It was a modern all-metal low-wing monoplane with folding wings for stowing below deck.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting block and clean them up. They are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. The outlets of the exhausts come into their own after a dark base and a fine dry brush with metallic and rusty shades.
The set does not contain the model of the aircraft itself; it serves as an accessory for the matching kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
