Responsibility details are not available.
This is a pre-painted photo-etched instrument panel set in 1:72 scale from Yahu Models. It is not an aircraft kit but a finished color accessory for a cockpit, which replaces the plastic instrument panel from the box. The panel is built up from several laminated photo-etched layers into three-dimensional relief, and the dial faces are painted at the factory and coated with gloss varnish imitating the glasses of the instruments. The set is intended for the plastic model of the Beaufighter Mk.VI from Hasegawa.
It replaces a flat plastic instrument panel and gives the cockpit of this heavy fighter fine, authentic detail without the laborious painting of instruments. The panel is degreased, gently shaped if need be, and glued in with cyanoacrylate.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine heavy fighter of the Second World War. The Mk.VI version with Hercules radial engines served both as a radar-equipped night fighter and as a Coastal Command strike aircraft. It became famous for its heavy gun armament and its devastating attacks on ships and ground targets.
This is an accessory (a photo-etched instrument panel), not an aircraft model. The base kit and glue are not included in the package.
