The new castings have the right shape and the details the production plastic lacks, and new bay doors are usually included. Intended for plastic models of the Beaufighter in this scale.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engined multi-purpose aircraft of the Second World War, used as a heavy fighter, a night fighter and a strike machine. The torpedo-carrying TF Mk.X version served with Coastal Command against shipping targets and became known as a feared opponent of enemy traffic at sea.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding. Dry-fit the bays and fill any gaps against the wing. The inside is usually painted in a lighter shade, and a fine wash brings out the structure.
The accessory is supplied unpainted as a resin set. The paints, glue and base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
