The Beechcraft 350 belongs to the King Air family of twin-engine turboprop aircraft, one of the most successful lines of multi-purpose machines in its class. The 350 type has a stretched cabin, tail surfaces arranged in a T and winglets at the wingtips. It is used for carrying people and cargo, for training, air ambulance flights, aerial photogrammetry and in a number of countries also in utility and special roles. It is valued for its ability to operate from short and less well equipped airfields and for its low operating costs compared with jets.
Try the parts dry before gluing and align the fuselage joints in advance, as on an aircraft with a smooth civil finish every unsanded seam is visible. Mask the cabin windows and the windshield and glue them only once the finish is complete, ideally with a clear cement that does not fog the plastic. Light and glossy surfaces call for a good primer and a polished base, otherwise even small scratches will stand out. Apply the decals onto a gloss finish and use a decal softener so that they settle into the transitions. Make sure the propellers have the same blade angle once finished, as on a twin-engine aircraft any asymmetry is immediately noticeable.
