Beer cans in 1:72 scale are small scenic props for dioramas — stand-alone objects of a scene, neither a kit nor parts for a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Discarded cans are among the details that give a diorama credibility faster than any large element. Scattered by a wall, on a table or on the bed of a cart, they tell of who was here and what they were doing. In 1:72 scale these are very small stand-alone objects of a scene — it is neither a kit nor parts to be fitted to another model.
They come into their own in modern civilian scenes, in interiors, in yards, in the back areas of workshops and anywhere you want to suggest clutter or a break. They work superbly paired with figures and combined with other small litter, because only an accumulation of small things creates the impression of a lived-in space.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry. With objects this small the key is not to drown the detail in paint: lay down a thin primer, then a silver or light gray base, and deal with the color of the label in a few strokes with a brush with a good point. Printing is not modeled in 1:72 — a colored band is enough and the eye will fill in the rest. A gloss varnish on top will give the metal the right reflection. Glue scattered cans in spots with cyanoacrylate glue and lay some of them on their side, so that natural clutter appears.
Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
