An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Bergepanzer III recovery vehicle in 1:72 scale from IBG. The model is laid out as an easy assembly with one-piece tracks molded together with the road wheels, and it is rounded out with a decal sheet. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
The Bergepanzer III was a German tracked recovery vehicle built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank. It was produced from 1944 in response to the growing need for heavy recovery equipment in units armed with Panzer III tanks and StuG III assault guns. It served to tow and recover damaged or bogged-down armored vehicles directly in the field.
Join the parts with thin plastic cement and sand the joints and mold marks. The easy-assembly layout with one-piece tracks speeds the running gear up markedly. It is best to lay down a primer first and then the color scheme with an airbrush. Washes and pigments for mud and dust effects suit bringing out the detail.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
