About product

Eduard 1:72 Bf 109 SC250 bomb (3D printed)

This add-on set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings a faithfully rendered German SC 250 aerial bomb for carriage under Messerschmitt Bf 109 models in 1:72 scale. The parts are made by direct 3D printing from resin with fine surface detail. It is not an aircraft kit but equipment that you add under the fuselage of a model.

The real subject

The SC 250 (Sprengbombe Cylindrisch) was a German high explosive bomb weighing around 250 kilograms, one of the most widespread aerial bombs of the Luftwaffe in the Second World War. The fighter and fighter-bomber versions of the Bf 109 carried it on a centerline rack during attacks on ground and naval targets.

Fitting and painting

Wash the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The body of the bomb is usually sprayed in dark gray or green, and the fins and bands can be picked out with a wash. Protect your airways when sanding.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers of fighter-bomber versions of the Bf 109 in 1:72
  • Anyone interested in faithful external stores
  • Collectors of Luftwaffe aircraft of the Second World War

This is an accessory for the build, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
