Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3/7 Special Markings 1:72 (AZ model) is an injection-molded plastic kit of the early Emil with interesting marking options.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer AZ model captures the early Messerschmitt Bf 109 of the Emil series, specifically the E-3 and E-7 variants. The Special Markings boxing concentrates on attractive decal schemes. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, with a decal sheet for several finishes.
The Bf 109E, nicknamed the Emil, was the main German fighter during the Battle of France and the Battle of Britain. It was powered by a Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine with fuel injection, thanks to which the aircraft stood up to violent maneuvers better than opponents with carburetor engines. The E-3 and E-7 versions differed in details of armament and equipment; the E-7 brought, among other things, the ability to carry a drop tank or a bomb, which extended its reach and its uses.
In a smaller scale careful work with the cockpit glazing pays off; mask it and paint it together with the fuselage. Bond the plastic with a thin cement and fill the seams. The typical early camouflage with a high division of colors and the markings on the fuselage will stand out when airbrushed over a primer. Glue small parts such as the propeller and the landing gear on only after the varnish has been laid on.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
