Eduard Bf 109E masks 1:72 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter. It gives crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter. It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109E, nicknamed Emil, is a German single-seat fighter from the beginning of the Second World War. It was powered by a liquid-cooled V engine and ranked among the main German fighters of the Battle of Britain. Characteristic is the angularly framed canopy, whose crisp lines mask well with a ready-made set.
Degrease the glazing of the framed canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them on the individual frames, press them into the edges and fill the small cut-outs with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
