The LööKplus add-on set from Eduard for the Bf-109G-2 model in 1:72, built around a finished instrument panel.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set from the line that Eduard built around a separately made instrument panel complemented with belts. The rendition designated plus adds further small parts to this basis, so the modeler deals with the cockpit and selected external details in one purchase. It is not a kit of the aircraft, but equipment for a model that the customer obtains separately.
The Bf 109 G-2 is among the first production machines of the so-called Gustav series, which arrived in 1942. Against the previous versions it was given the more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and with it higher performance at altitude. The aerodynamically clean airframe kept the typical narrow fuselage and the narrow-track landing gear retracting into the wing, which never forgave crews a mistake on takeoff and landing. The G-2 appeared on practically every front and became one of the most widespread versions of the type.
In 1:72 the cockpit is small, but at the same time the most conspicuous place on the whole model: the viewer's eye goes through the glazing straight inside. A finished panel with belts does more there than hours of painting miniature dials. You set the set into the model at the stage when the fuselage is still open, so prepare it before you start gluing the halves together. A fit-or-not situation is dealt with by lightly sanding the seat, never by force. Check the particular composition of the parts on the box.
