This set is a modeling accessory, not a model of an aircraft. It contains a vacuum-formed clear cockpit canopy for the British Hawker Tempest Mk.V fighter in 1:72 scale. The thin, well-lit part replaces the original glazing from the kit.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.V was a British single-seat fighter of the end of the Second World War, developed on from the Typhoon. It was notable for its high speed at low altitude and became famous, among other things, for shooting down German V-1 missiles.
Cut the canopy out outside the engraved edge and sand it down. Dipping it in a gloss varnish raises the clarity. Glue with thin PVA glue or a special glue for canopies, which does not fog clear areas. Mask the frames carefully before painting.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a standalone model. The glue, the paints and the base model are not included in the package.
