A resin accessory set of main wheels for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail replacement for the plastic wheels with more faithful castings with a fine tire pattern.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 was one of the most numerous versions of the German fighter of the Second World War, recognizable among other things by the fairings over the machine guns on the cowling. On models, the landing gear wheels are one of the details that strongly affect the overall impression.
Wash the parts to remove mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. The realistically bulged lower part of the wheel (the flat spot) makes it easier to seat the model correctly on a surface, so watch the orientation when gluing. The rims and the tires are easy to mask and paint separately.
