The name specifies the machine with the pilot's name as well, so the sheet is aimed at the precise reconstruction of one single machine and not at a general set of markings.
The Bf 110 was a twin-engine two-seat heavy fighter aircraft. In the later G series it received more powerful engines and served mainly for night fighting, where it made use of special detection equipment. The Spanner device was among the attempts of the time at finding a target beyond the reach of sight and was installed on only some of the machines, so this is a technically untypical version.
Night Bf 110s tended to have light undersides and irregular mottling on the upper surfaces, so decals are often laid onto a slightly textured coat. Always polish the surface with gloss varnish, therefore, otherwise air will hold under the film. The crosses on the wings reach across the flaps and panel lines, so a stronger softener and gently piercing the bubbles with the tip of a scalpel will help. At the end unify the surface with matte varnish.
