Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf 110E heavy fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It comes out in the Weekend edition, that is, in a form concentrated on the plastic itself with a decal sheet; photo-etched parts and painting masks are not included in this edition. The subject offers several marking options, so you can pick a particular machine to your own taste.
The Bf 110 was conceived as a heavy twin-engine fighter (Zerstörer) for escorting bombers and destroying enemy aircraft at a distance. The E version from the beginning of the Second World War raised the load capacity and allowed the machine to take on the role of a fighter-bomber as well. Despite its losses in the Battle of Britain, where the slower twin-engine machine paid the price against nimbler single-seat fighters, the Bf 110 proved itself as a strike and later also as a night fighter aircraft. It was powered by a pair of Daimler-Benz inverted V12 engines.
On this type the cockpit and the glazed canopy are exposed to view, so finish and paint the interior before closing the fuselage. It pays to mask the frames of the long glasshouse; as the Weekend edition does not include masks, have narrow masking tape or a separate set of masks ready. Glue the plastic with liquid cement for plastic models and sand the seams back once the parts are together. Build the base for the paint with a primer, apply the camouflage with an airbrush and lay the decals onto a gloss coat, so that no silvering appears.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
