Bloch MB.152 1:72 from RS models - a short-run injection-molded plastic kit of the French fighter of 1940 with resin details.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Bloch MB.152 fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker RS models. It is a short-run kit with a finely engraved surface, supplemented by resin details, clear glazing and decals for several machines of the period. Short-run kits tend to be more demanding in cleanup and in the fit of the parts, so the model is suited rather to more experienced modelers.
The MB.152 was a French fighter with a radial engine which made up a significant part of the French fighter force during the Battle of France in 1940. It was rugged and took combat damage well, but its weaknesses were a short range and rather average performance. Even so, French pilots scored a number of aerial victories on it before France was defeated.
Count on the more demanding fit typical of short-run kits. Glue the plastic parts with thin liquid cement for plastic and the fine resin parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate); first wash the mold release agent off the resin and cut away the casting blocks. Finish the cockpit and bring it out with a wash before you close the fuselage. Mask the glazing for sharp frames and spray the French camouflage with an airbrush over primer.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
