An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish Bofors wz.36 anti-tank gun of 37 mm caliber in 1:72 scale from the Polish maker First to Fight. It is a simple, easy-to-build set with assembly instructions; an accompanying historical booklet tends to be available as well. The model is intended to be glued and painted.
The Bofors wz.36 was the Polish licensed version of the Swedish Bofors anti-tank gun of 37 mm caliber. In the second half of the 1930s it became the standard anti-tank weapon of the Polish army, and in 1939 it was among the most effective guns in its class, able to pierce the armor of the light and medium tanks of the day.
Use liquid cement on the plastic, and secure the small parts with cyanoacrylate glue if need be. Cut the thin parts of the mount and the shield off carefully. We recommend a primer coat, a single-color or camouflage finish with an airbrush and final weathering with a dark wash and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
