A resin set of a replacement tail cone and tail wheel for the model of the American Brewster 339 Buffalo fighter in the C, D and E versions in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detailing part from Quickboost. The castings replace the simplified plastic parts with a more faithful rendering of the rear fuselage and the rear landing gear.
The Brewster Buffalo was an American fighter with a short, stubby fuselage and a Wright Cyclone radial engine. The Model 339 was the export version derived from the US Navy carrier machine, adapted for land use. These aircraft served with a number of foreign users before and during the Second World War. The rear fuselage with its tail cone and small tail wheel forms a characteristic part of the silhouette.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent residue from the mold. Separate them carefully from the casting block with a sharp cutter and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Do the sanding with respiratory protection, because resin dust is very fine. Before painting, roughen the surface lightly and apply a primer suitable for resin.
This is an accessory for refining a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
