A reduced extent of the colored interior set for the Beaufighter Mk.21 in 1:72 scale, printed three-dimensionally on decal paper.
Responsibility details are not available.
The designation of the smaller version with this Quinta Studio accessory means a narrower extent than with the full set for the same aircraft. It brings colored three-dimensionally printed details on decal paper and aims at modelers for whom working the most visible areas of the crew compartment is enough. Its extent is narrower accordingly. You have to have a kit of the Australian Beaufighter; the set does not hold a model.
The Mk.21 version was built directly in Australia for service in the Pacific. It was based on the torpedo variant, but it was given its own arrangement of gun armament and modifications according to local supply possibilities. The aircraft attacked over New Guinea and over the islands of the southwest Pacific, where low flight and heavy fire made a feared opponent out of the twin-engine machine. In construction it is still a British Beaufighter with Hercules radial engines and with the crew divided between the forward cockpit and the rear station.
If you are reckoning on a closed canopy or building several examples at once, the smaller variant will cover what matters without anything superfluous. With an exposed cockpit and close-up photography, on the other hand, the full set is the thing. The printing and the coloring are identical in both versions; the difference is only in the extent. What exactly the box holds is described in the maker's instructions.
