Painting masks from the Czech manufacturer AML for a model of the Bristol Blenheim Mk.I light bomber in 1:72 scale. Before you start spraying, give a moment to preparation, and that is exactly where this set helps: pre-cut masks replace laborious measuring, cutting and redrawing of the camouflage pattern, so you can concentrate on the spraying itself. The result is a regulation layout of the brown and green fields with clean edges on the fuselage and the wing.
The Bristol Blenheim Mk.I was in its day among the most modern aircraft in the world: an all-metal light bomber with Mercury radial engines, it was faster during test flying than the fighters of the time. In the Second World War it served in daylight and night operations and flew with a number of air forces; its crews earned great respect through hard service.
The basis of success is the surface: let the lighter color cure fully and degrease the surface before sticking them on, otherwise the film will not hold the edges. Lay the masks out dry against the drawing, stick them on from the fuselage to the wings and press the edges down thoroughly. Before you lift the last mask off, check the covering power of the spray against the light.
These are painting masks, an accessory for painting. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
