Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of decals in 1:72 scale from the British brand Xtradecal for models of the twin-engined Blenheim in the Mk.I and Mk.IF versions. The designation of a first part suggests that the line has a continuation with further markings. It is not a kit but a standalone printed sheet meant for a finished painted model. The particular machines, units and the extent of the small lettering are given on the packaging and in the instructions supplied.
The Bristol Blenheim was an all-metal twin-engined aircraft with radial engines that grew out of a fast airliner of the mid-1930s. The Mk.I version served as a light bomber with a glazed nose and a crew made up of a pilot, a navigator and a wireless operator and gunner. The Mk.IF designation belongs to the fighter conversion, on which a pack with fixed forward-firing machine gun armament was fitted under the fuselage. Some of these machines were later used for night duties as well. Outwardly the two versions differ chiefly in that ventral pack and in details of equipment.
With older sheets it pays to give attention to trimming the carrier film. A surplus clear border around the print reflects light once dry and gives away the outline of the decal even on a well-prepared varnish. Trim the film with a sharp scalpel as close to the printed area as possible, therefore, ideally while it is still on the sheet and before soaking, and with divided national insignia or codes work out in advance where the decals are to meet. On straight edges a steel rule helps. Cut on a hard surface so that the film does not tear.
The package contains the decal sheet only. The kit, paints and glue are not part of it.
