A supplementary set in cast resin containing four British Browning .303 (7.7 mm) aircraft machine guns of the fixed type in 1:72 scale. It is a detail set for improving aircraft models, not an aircraft kit. The parts are meant as a quick and easy replacement for the coarser plastic parts of a kit and raise the fidelity of the armament.
The British Browning .303 Mk II aircraft machine gun was the standard fixed onboard weapon of Royal Air Force fighters and other aircraft in the Second World War. It was usually installed in the wings, often in batteries of several barrels, and made up the main machine gun armament of the aircraft of its era.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent first, cut the casting blocks off carefully and sand the contact surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Pick out the metal areas with a dark steel shade and a fine dry brush.
Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package. This is a stand-alone detail accessory.
