This set is NOT an aircraft kit but a resin detail accessory. It offers a precisely cast engine air intake and a fuel vent outlet, which replace the simplified kit parts and give a model of the Blackburn Buccaneer S.2C carrier strike aircraft a more faithful shape to its leading sections.
The Blackburn Buccaneer was a British low-level carrier strike aircraft of the Cold War. The shape of the air intakes and the small external outlets is among the characteristic features that are difficult to capture in injection-molded plastic.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Fill and sand the transitions to the fuselage with respiratory protection, then even them out with an airbrush.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
