1:72 C-130 Blue Angels FAT ALBERT from HAD models is a small accessory to a model of the transport Hercules of the American display team, not a kit of the aircraft itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
An item from the Hungarian brand HAD models on the theme of the transport Hercules that accompanies the American Blue Angels team. The 1:72 scale is the most widespread choice for four-engine transport machines, because the finished model has a span of around forty centimeters and still fits an ordinary display case. The goods serve as an accessory to such a model, and the core of the build itself is not in the package. The kind of set is not defined in the name, so it is not stated here.
The nickname comes from a television cartoon character of the 1960s and it has stuck to the machine to this day, even though the aircraft itself has been changed in the meantime. The original four-engine Hercules with turboprop engines was replaced in 2020 by a newer Super Hercules version acquired from British surplus. The finish stayed the same, that is, a rich blue with prominent yellow, so that the machine would clearly belong to the whole team from a distance.
The blue and yellow combination is sprayed from the top down and the lighter tone always comes first. The large continuous areas of the fuselage give away every ripple in the filler, so it pays to go over the joints with fine abrasive paper before the base color. Finish the propeller blades separately and fit them only onto a finished fuselage, so that you do not damage the edges while handling it.
The package contains neither the aircraft itself nor paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
